Sri Lanka Police has taken procedures to develop a Central Crimes Investigation Bureau (CCIB) with DIG Nihal Thalduwa as the Range DIG and SSP Shani Abeysekera as its Director.The new variety has been developed in order to increase the performance of the examination of cases under the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The CCIB will likewise be operational to expeditiously examine financial criminal activities, abuse of state funds, state property and other deceptive acts that have actually happened in the past, Police Media Spokesman SSP Buddhika Manathunga noted.
